The Boyne Valley Hotel on the outskirts of Drogheda is well suited for visits to the Boyne Valley sites of Knowth, Newgrange & Dowth. The hotel on 16 acres of gardens and woodland was built in 1845 as a private house and converted into a hotel in 1961.


Annesbrook's foundations were set in the 1600's and it has grown through the 18th and 19th Centuries Annesbrook is set in the Boyne Valley in the heart of archaeological Meath only 7 minutes from Newgrange and less than half an hour from the Hill of Tara, Monsterboice, Trim Castle, Kells and hundreds of archaeological sites.
